Who this policy covers

LeelineBags Technology Limited, Room 1510, Wanlong Building, Hanyang District, Wuhan, Hubei, China, operates leelinebags.com. Below, "we" and "us" mean that company, and "you" means the person or business using the site.

  • What it covers. Information gathered through leelinebags.com, whether you send a brief, request a quote, or simply read a page.

  • What it does not cover. A third-party site reached by following a link from ours. Its own policy takes over from the moment you arrive.

  • Who decides. The company above is the data controller: the party that decides why information is held and how it is used.

What we collect

Most of what we hold you give us yourself. A smaller amount the site records on its own as pages load.

  • Details you provide. A name, a business email address and a phone number, sent when you ask for a quote or open a conversation about a run.

  • The brief itself. Whatever an enquiry contains: a drawing, a specification, a target quantity, a reference sample described in words.

  • Technical data. Recorded automatically as a page is served — an IP address, a browser type and version, the pages opened, the time and date of the visit, and the time spent on each one.

  • Cookie data. The small identifiers described in the Cookies section below, used to remember a choice you have already made, not to identify you personally.

How we use it

Personal data is used to answer the enquiry that produced it, and for the small set of purposes below. It is not sold, and it is not used to build a profile of you for another company's marketing.

  • To answer an enquiry. A brief is read, a quote is prepared, and questions about either are answered by the person who took it.

  • To run an order. The specification, quantity and delivery details an order needs, carried from sampling through to dispatch.

  • To keep the site working. Technical data shows which pages load, which ones fail, and where a reader gives up on a form.

  • To meet a legal duty. Invoices and contract records are kept where tax or commercial law requires a record to exist.

Cookies

The site sets a small number of cookies. A browser can be set to refuse all of them, though some parts of the site then behave differently.

  • Essential. Required for the site to work at all: page routing, form submission, and basic security. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.

  • Preference. Remember a choice you have already made, so it does not have to be made again on the next visit.

  • Analytics. Record which pages are opened and how long a visit lasts, in aggregate, so the site can be improved.

  • Managing them. Every major browser lets cookies be blocked or cleared from its settings; blocking all of them disables the essential set along with the rest.

Who we share it with

Personal data reaches another party only where a job needs it, and only in the amount that job requires.

  • Service providers. Companies that run part of the site on our behalf: hosting, email delivery, analytics. Each is bound by contract to use the data for that purpose alone.

  • Logistics partners. A courier is given the delivery address and a contact for the shipment, and nothing else about the order.

  • Professional advisers. An accountant or a lawyer, where a legal or financial obligation requires a record to be shared with them.

  • Public authorities. Only where the law compels disclosure, and we will say so unless we are barred from doing so.

  • A business transfer. If the company is sold or merged, records may pass to the buyer, who stays bound by this policy.

How long we keep it

A record is kept only while there is a reason to keep it. When that reason ends, it is deleted or anonymised.

  • An enquiry. Held while the conversation is open and for a short period afterwards, in case it resumes.

  • An order. Kept for as long as contract, tax and warranty law requires, which in most cases means several years after delivery.

  • Technical data. Retained for a shorter period, unless it is being used to investigate a security incident.

  • A deletion request. Where you ask for data to be removed, we delete what we can and explain what the law obliges us to keep.

Your rights

You have the rights below over the personal data held about you. A request goes to info@leelinebags.com, and we answer within a reasonable period.

  • Access. Ask for a copy of the personal data held about you, and for what it is being used.

  • Correction. Ask for anything inaccurate or out of date to be put right.

  • Deletion. Ask for data to be erased where there is no continuing reason to hold it.

  • Objection. Ask us to stop using your data for a particular purpose, such as marketing.

The limit on all four

Where a record must be kept — an invoice, a signed contract — we will tell you that, and hold the record, instead of deleting it.

Security

Data travels over an encrypted connection and is held on servers whose access is limited to the people who need it for their work.

  • In transit. The site is served over HTTPS, so information sent through a form is encrypted before it leaves your browser.

  • At rest. Access to stored records is restricted to the staff who need them for a job, and reviewed when someone leaves.

The honest limit

No system is completely secure. What we can promise is that current, reasonable steps are taken, not that a breach is impossible.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the new version is posted here and the date at the top of the page moves with it.

  • Minor changes. Wording and clarity updates take effect when they are posted.

  • Material changes. A change to what is collected, why it is collected, or who it reaches is announced on the site before it takes effect.
